This dill pickle dip recipe is made with Greek yogurt, pickles, fresh dill, and lemon juice. It’s naturally gluten-free and oh-so-good.

If you’re here, it’s probably because you’re obsessed with dill pickles just like us. We love eating pickles plain, but we especially love adding pickles to dips and sauces!

What does Dill Pickle Dip Taste like?

Dill pickle dip is a savory, vinegary dip that tastes like a creamy dill pickle. It’s dilly, lemony, and mostly creamy, but has bite-sized delicious pieces of pickles!

If you’ve ever had a tartar sauce, it’s similar to that in texture, but with a dill pickle flavor!

What’s in Dill Pickle Dip?

This dill pickle dip and sauce is made with a few staple ingredients. Here’s what you nee:

  • Greek yogurt
  • Dill pickles
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Pickle juice
  • Lemon juice
  • Fresh dill

Can I use any other kinds of pickles?

While you can use any kind of pickle you want in this recipe, we recommend using a dill pickle or Kosher dill pickle because they are savory and vinegary. Feel free to get sassy and use a spicy dill pickle!

Other pickles such as bread and butter and sweet pickles, are more sweet than savory, which is why we don’t recommend these.

Can I make this vegan?

While we haven’t tried to use a non-dairy yogurt, you totally can! Make sure you use a plain, no sugar added yogurt. Give it a taste because you might need to add a little more dill pickle juice and/or lemon juice.

Quick Preparation

Lucky for you the hardest part about this recipe is chopping the pickles! Otherwise, place everything into a bowl and stir to combine.

Can you double or triple this recipe?

This is an excellent recipe to multiply if you’re trying to feed a crowd. Feel free to use the recipe calculator in our recipe card below.
